I think muslims should be the first to adapt and accept technological advancements, we need to be ahead.
the future of muslims ties into the past too, the deen doesnt change, but things in the future can directly and indirectly tie into the deen too. things like bitcoin directly tie into the deen in that it is anti-riba money, and riba is haram.
muslims shouldn't be falling behind
dont get stuck in the past, and hold your religion above all else.
