I know this is a joke but how long before this becomes a reality? #nostr #bitcoin - With Hyper-Bitcoinization and also after reading Snowcrash by Neal Stephenson in my early teens... I think of enclaves/closed cities which only let others drive into those districts if they use Bio-metrics (the way we're going now).
Another weird dystopian idea I had was akin to other digital currencies being essentially 'road tax'. You wanna get onto this freeway? Have some random shitcoin which the council or city has made and stream it like you stream sats to fountain. Wanna get on *this* freeway... then send ecash.
After seeing Ready Player One and the scene where the main character simply picks up in-game currency (same as irl currency), they could use that virtual currency as a way of existence. Reality is most likely going to be a merge of what we consider reality and AR, MR, VR & XR. (Augmented, Mixed, Virtual and Extended Realities).
Anyone else really intrigued by this topic or in other digital realities created by ourselves? I'm guessing everyone is but just felt stoned, bored, and feeling the need to fill up your inbox with a few kb. :pepeD:
