Ok need some #plumbing advice. I removed the toilet. The problem is really the drainage pipe. It's an older house and the pipe is made out of cast iron. It has been rusting. This is causing two problems:
1. The lip if the pipe has rusted away so that there's a hike between the pipe and floor.
2. One of the bolts which the secures the toilet use supposed to be caught by the lip if the drainage pipe so that it doesn't move add I can fasten a nut. Because the pipe is rusted, the bolt isn't secure and twists everytime I try to fasten the nut.
I feel like for 1, I could stack two wax rings and cover the hole. For problem 2, I have no idea. Any suggestions for either problem? Should I call a plumber or just send it with two wax rings and only one bolt securing the toilet?
