Today's theme: Light vs Shadow Challenges - I have no idea how to take dark pictures but I think it helped it look cool - I don't think this is a challenge but I had a lot of fun doing this - Both pictures can be shadow and light but I think light is obvious cause its less blurry therefore easier to understand We do live in a world of light, but sometimes it feels safer in the shadows... #30DaysThroughMyLense #30DaysOfProofOfWork

*Day 1* Marce's no prize #photography 30 day challenge. Because this is the first time I do this I am going to explain the little dynamic I just came up with. I am going to choose two pictures I like from all the ones that I take during the day. Each day is going to have a theme. Today's theme: Love at First Sight vs Slow Burn Love Challenges - Self portraits are hard you have to control all the camera settings while controlling yourself, and not running out of time. - My room had too much light and finding the right presets was a whole quest, gazzilion overexposed photographs... - I need to learn how to get that focus nailed down every time... dunno if its the lense, settings, just need to look into it. - It's all about being raw, which is the format I chose for these pictures and later learned I can edit them and have no idea how... - But raw self portraits are also hard cause I find tons of flaws and imperfections on me... but this was the challenge to portrait the slow burning love I have for myself. I am going to use the two following hashtags 🤙 #30DaysThroughMyLense #30DaysOfProofOfWork You can use them in case you want to join me in this photography challenge or your own version of this PoW challenge where you post things you think will be more constructive to #nostr than people fighting or begging.

Tomorrow, January 4th, the verdict in Julian Assange's extradition trial will be delivered, and honestly, I can't bring myself to think that today we are celebrating the birth of the key to humanity's freedom and tomorrow, a man who did nothing wrong and has been deprived of his freedom may be stripped away of all his human rights. I've been thinking a lot about this, especially after chatting with @Stella and John Shipton last year. They really opened my eyes to how messed up this whole situation is. If you're curious, check out our full talk here: I hope tomorrow's verdict brings Julian closer to being freed and back with his family. But this isn't the end of the road for Assange. His final appeal in London's High Court is set for February. This could be his last chance to avoid extradition to the United States, where he faces serious charges. This moment is key, not just for Assange but for journalism and civil liberties worldwide. If you're in the US, this is your call to action. Hit up your congressperson. Tell them to push Biden to drop all charges against Assange. Your voice can make a difference. With this, I want to say that even though I'm totally blown away and super thankful for Bitcoin turning 15 today, it's tough to really get into the party mood. Knowing there are so many freedom fighters out there getting their wings clipped, it hits hard... We could be next... Today isn't just about partying and celebrating for me. Today, I'm all about standing up to the establishment, reminding them they can't shut us down. We've got to keep fighting every single day, but especially on days like today, especially every January 3rd.

It’s been 9 months since I joined @The Nostr Report and putting it together is one of my favorite things, we are all running getting our day started. A mix of getting some hilarious kids ready for the day, running around the fiat mines, me jumping in and out of meetings that most of the time could be emails.
