We are at a point in history, where we live in the world with the following mantra:
I WANT IT NOW.
I think this summarizes many things:
- the egoistic nature we have
- the high time preference we have
- the lack of empathy we have
(Of course there are exceptions.)
Many issues stem from this. Such as we are impatient, and are not capable of persistently doing things for a longer-term goal. Two from many are eating healthy and excercising.
Fortunately we still value these things in the form of being muscly, lean, looking young, having energy, etc.
BUT, because of our high time preference nature, we are looking for shortcuts, and in many times can burn our fingers.
Just my 2 sats point of view.

It was a great weekend, I am pivoting my healthy-eating app, that I have not yet released. And did long planning, information gathering, designing steps along the weekend.
My goal is to empower people to eat healthier and save time by making meal planning, shopping and cooking quick and simple.

1. In the goal of sound health, and eating healthy, do you consider almost always cooking for yourself and family reasonable?
A: Yes
B: No
2. What is the amount of food tracking that would be acceptable by you to track your nutrition score (nutrition intake is in good range)?
A: Once per day 10-20 minutes in the evening to log foods from memory. (Low accuracy)
B: Once per batching 5-10 minutes. (You batch make your meal for more days, and log for more days, when you make them.) (High accuracy)
C: 20-30 minutes per week building a full weekly meal plan, and then just making and eating that without measuring individually. (Mid accuracy)
Any extra comments after the answer also welcomed, but not necessary.

I missed 11 days from my 100 pushups challenge.
That is a lot!
But getting back on track is what matters, so lets go!
I have to do 200 pushups for 11 days to get back on track. Or I could do more to get back earlier.
I even thought about, I could switch to 200 pushups per day then. Then it would be tough to do missed days.
If you miss a habit, just do stronger next time!

I started a challenge more than a month ago to do 100 pushups a day.
To make it progressive, I move from wall pushup, table pushup, to normal pushups. Eventually to reach one handed wall stand pushup.
When I reach 50 pushup / set, I move to the next level starting from 10 / set.
It is working in a sense, that I am progressing, and more pushups are easier over time.
To combat skipping one day ruining the strike, and killing motivation, I made the following rule:
It is okay to skip a day, but the pushups have to be done for that day to keep the strike.
This way, it is not a big deal if I miss one day, but also I have a harder time, because I have to do more of them later...
