GN 🌙 Got back home and first thought: so much work to do. But then I noticed that the whole work I had organising and preparing the yard was to receive people I love. My kids helped me and are eager to receive their friend. My neighbour called and asked me if I want to join her at church tomorrow. I could call my mom and talk a bit. Then I noticed I’m rich and I am not talking about money. Have a good weekend and be grateful. Deus é bom 😉

As a day with myself cannot end without any randomness, all garages near the stadium were full. I ended up parking in a parking lot in the middle of a forest, near a cabin restaurant. I then saw a couple in Metallica shirts and asked if they were comfortable with parking there and they said they were just guests of the restaurant but waiting for their cab to the stadium. They offered to take me in the cab, in the end they were French, we spoke a bit in French and it was super nice, now ready to rock and still having my kidneys. My guardian angel is strong. 🤣 See you hopefully someday again! #concert #metallica #ramdon

GN 🌙 This week I was talking to a friend who suspects her kid is autistic and asked me about my experience as a mother of an ND kid with empathy, selectivity and other things. She was concerned that her child doesn’t seem to be as empathetic with people as with animals. My answer to her was actually at first a question if that was actually not rather a concern based on her perception of her child than a fact. One of my kids is AuDHD. Earlier on, my kid wouldn’t react and try to soothe anyone when someone nearby was crying or visibly sad. At first I was also concerned about that. But with time you specialise in your child. I learned that my kid actually carries much more empathy and feelings than it shows. My kid is not apathetic, but simply couldn’t/ can’t COMMUNICATE those emotions as typical people expect them to. Knowing what to do with your feelings is something that can be at least partially learned with love, patience and time. Not masking, but processing them and deciding what to do with them - or not. Love pays off. #gn #parenthood #neurodiversity #loveunconditionally
