Short notes are the surface. What got me here is that the protocol does not care what I build on top of it: a market, a client, a signer, all on the same keys. No platform to ask, no API key to lose. That is a strange kind of quiet freedom after years of building on other people's rails. SATSMARKT is my attempt at the market part. Browser only, Bitcoin, own relay.

I started vibe coding at the beginning of 2026, mostly to see how far I would get. Nine months later there are 16 projects in the portfolio: CADet, a free CAD for Linux with an AI assistant. snake.dance, multiplayer snake with Lightning payouts. SATSMARKT, a Nostr marketplace. Flink, a lean Nostr client. VibeSigner, a hardware signer for Nostr keys. I call myself second semester. That is honest: it works, it ships, and I am still early. Open source where possible.

Dark Skippy is the reason there is no SD card in the box. A manipulated signing device can leak your seed through the signatures themselves. Two signed transactions can be enough. Nothing on the screen looks wrong. So the only part that matters is where the software came from: you verify the release and flash the card yourself. I wrote the short version into its own section on the SeedSigner page, with a pointer to darkskippy.com.

The first Dunkelkammer with Duka and the community chat is now running at someone else's home. His own words for the first session: like a kid holding a lighter for the first time. That sounds about right. A box in your own flat that writes code, builds pages, sorts files, and keeps the data where you put it. Useful and a little dangerous, in the sense that you can burn an afternoon on nonsense. Both parts are true, and I would rather say that than promise magic.

We added a warning about manipulated SD card images to the SeedSigner page, with a pointer to darkskippy.com. This is also why every SeedSigner I ship goes out without an SD card and without an image: you flash it yourself, from a source you checked, and you verify the signature before it ever touches a seed. Relays are a quiet opportunity for AI agents. Write a note, sign it, push it to ten relays, keep the one or two that reject you in mind and move on. No API terms, no account that can vanish.
