None of us actually care about Bitcoin’s price or even Bitcoin itself as a digital asset or form of money. What we truly care about is stability, peace, and more time with the people we love. In the end, it’s freedom that we all care about.

The probability of a random civilization anywhere in the universe becoming intergalactic is astronomically lower than the probability of that same civilization being wiped out by a cosmic event like an asteroid hit. I’ve been thinking about this and I believe the reason we’ve never been contacted by any alien civilization, and never will be, is because intelligent life tends to vanish long before it ever gets the chance to reach out. It’s the default outcome. Survival to the interstellar stage is impossible. This Milky Way’s little planet called Earth will have the same fate. We might colonize Mars and become interplanetary but we will never become intergalactic. We’ll be gone long before that taken out by a similar cosmic event that erased many others before us.

In case you haven’t heard, Bitfinex just backed a company called Stable building layer 1 stablechain specifically for USDT. They’ve started quietly dumping ETH.

A couple weeks of mining on your personal computer in the early 2010s is now worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Still boggles my mind.

do you notice the pattern recently? some btc treasury companies keep tweeting, posting noise, making promises. “we’ll do this, we’ll do that” but never actually buy any bitcoin so far. meanwhile saylor’s mstr just keeps buying and executing. don’t trust the talkers. they’ll probably fuck up big time.

ai writes tons of code no doubt but debugging still eats up a lot of time. if your kpi is time-to-ship, the impact isn’t very significant yet on the coding front. models need better context handling, deeper codebase awareness which is the number 1 issue right now and real time feedback loop. most major teams are working on this now with thr goal of being able to generate ship-ready codebase out of the box, not just an isolated piece in the next 36 months or so.

youtube links don’t convert to the actual video on primal. it works on thr web but not in the app. another fundamental ux issue that needs fixing. very hard for me to understand trying to build fancy and useless stuff like primal studio when basic things like sharing youtube videos still don’t work.
