I find @Keychat ‘s stamp system to be so refreshing.
1. It’s an honest and sustainable business model.
2. If each stamp can be a tenth of a cent, it’s much cheaper than the SMS days of 2007, for example.
3. Assigning value to sending of messages also incentivizes upgrades to more rich communication like phone, video, or 😲 face-to-face.

What happened to all that money that @jack donated to Nostr development?
A year later and the only progress has been from people that received zero dollars? Ain’t that how it always goes lol
In Nostr, much like Bitcoin, the useful stuff happens on Layer 2
@primal If you need to preface a note ID with “nostr:” in order for it to embed properly, then there should be a way to copy it that way from the three-dot menu on a post.
Only options now is to copy a full URL or a bare note ID.
There’s a new wallet for Grin that is super refreshing to see for the community. Built with Rust, so leveraging the existing core code. Cross-platform.
I like Grin because it’s the least scammy crypto currency in existence. 1 coin per second, forever. More on that here: https://grinflation.com
Grim - Cross-platform GUI for Grin
Cross-platform GUI for Grin ツ in Rust for maximum compatibility with original Mimblewimble implementation and focus on usability and availability...
Has anyone tried Movim?
Chat and social on XMPP. Works with some of the best chat server tech in history (ejabberd, prosody, etc).
XMPP rocks honestly.
