Bitcoin has followed a power trend consistently, which is how networks typically grow. Current price of $88k is below the trend (~$114k on my model, varies a bit depending on which data was used to fit the model) and Bitcoin has been this much below the trend only about a third of the time in it's history and well within normal variation. In one year the trend sits at $158k and to the current price level will be at the 5th percentile meaning that the price typically is above that level 95% of the time. Obviously network growth is not the only thing affecting price but these other factors are the drivers that push the price either above or below the trend.

I'm not much of a social media guy but in 2025 I joined Nostr. This is what social media should be plus I've learned Nostr is so much more than that which I didn't know before. Happy new year to all fellow Nostriches!

I've been a happy #grapheneos user for a little over year now. @npub1klkk...x3vt gives an excellent summary on why that's a great choice plus a few recommendations (I tweaked a couple of settings, too, after reading this). I would add as a pro also the ability to install apps from unofficial sources ( @Zapstore was mentioned which I use also) even if Google starts limiting this on regular Android. That restriction combined with banning encrypted messaging apps from the Play store is not even that far fetched. Stay safe and don't carry your phone everywhere, especially protests etc!
