10cm new snow means a good workout. No need to hit the gym today 😅

I've had my Bitaxe running quite hot and occassionally crashing even when slightly underclocked and fan at full speed. I remembered today that I have some left over thermal paste from years ago when I built my PC so I tried changing the paste and it did wonders! It's now running cooler than before even overclocked and the fan is not even maxing out. Now I don't need to wait thousands of years to find a block, only thousands minus a couple, LFG!

Mood

Took a 40min walk and it's -28,5C here. Even without any kind of face cover I'm starting to get accustomed to these temperatures again. Would love a bit more snow though but at least there's enough to cover the ground and trees so it reflects the small amount of sun light we get 😊

I originally came to #bitcoin for "just in case it catches on". After some missteps early on, playing with shitcoins and losing my original stake when an exchange went down, I realized there was NGU potential which made me start studying the thing and DCAing back in. The kind of topics covered in @Trust Revolution was the stuff that really grew my conviction and made me a bitcoin maxi and sparked an interest in freedom tech. I'm not much of a social media guy but in 2025 I joined Nostr. This is what social media should be plus I've learned Nostr is so much more than that which I didn't know before. Happy new year to all fellow Nostriches!
