.@stripe runs a closed monetary network and they see stable coins (which are not interoperable) as being their business's future. in order to lock in a moat around their stable coins they need people to use it and they see large payment volumes going through open router

boltz is now a honey pot
hopefully the coldcard incident has taught us that multi vendor is the way
the bikey is single vendor
claude fable has become insufferable. unnecessarily opinionated. always stopping on auto mode to ask a permission for a trivial task even after being given explicit permission to continue autonomously.
kimik3 with pi.dev is really the only auto option with frontier level intelligence
no public ip infrastructure access beyond the access for the service itself

I think we're in a world were almost every piece of personal infrastructure and hobby projects even need to be locked behind something like wire guard or tail scale
nix-bitcoin is wonderful
as a long time listener of @ODELL and @MartyBent it is pretty tough to listen to then right now. i'm sure they are embarrassed but it is pretty tough earning back listeners trust. they have been amazing educators but it is wild to see them invest in a security company and not demand a security audit as part of their investment or a condition of their share ownership.
presumably the only reason they invested was that nvk and dochex wanted some exit liquidity
run kimi k3 against any system you maintain. it is so so good at finding bugs and then just ask it to fix them and document them. super simple.
