hypothesis:
the new warfare is the capture, weaponization, and advancement of legacy state and corporate power structures, through propagandistic psychological operations, algorithms, and AI prediction/response.
leading to the need for an active separation between populist, and empire technology.

i will not be taking on a nostr match maker role any time soon. but i will mention that i don’t understand the single men of nostr when someone like @Helen Yrmom can have that character, personality, look like that, and be apparently single, while you sit on your hands complaining about the government.
you know that one person you think is interesting and cool, but only every talks about one thing, so you dont hang out with them as much as you might?
do you think that persons obsession is a little much, or is it “signal”?
listening to a deeply patriotic Muslim immigrant say things like “the US operates on some sort of BDSM economics. Like some Americans say slap my ass and take my money.”
no lies detected.
knowing God is pleased with you, and is excited about your future, is the foundation of so many good outcomes in life
there was once a man who put lots of money into nazi germany. when that threatened to become a problem, a very smart lawyer friend helped him hide it, and launder his money out. he was also involved in a plot to overthrow the US Government, to install a fascist State.
this mans lawyer would later become the first head of the cia, his son would become director of the cia, be involved in the kennedy assassination, the establishment of an opium network and a massive money laundering system, and would later become president. his grandson would go on to become president, pass the patriot act, and lie to start some wars.
im realizing that Zionism is a form of the “Manifest Destiny” doctrine that we used to justify displacing people living on the land we wanted. Our blind spots are something else.
supporting the political decisions of the Israeli government does not make you a better Christian
it’s interesting how many “solutions” from the Federal government involve further erosion of your freedom.
when i heard rumblings of a pandemic in January of 2020, having some knowledge of the history of pandemics which had come out of Wuhan and swept acros the world, I took some pretty serious preparation steps. I even started wearing n95 masks before most people had even heard about what was coming. people looked at me like i was crazy.
two months later, after catching the first round and being out for 10 days, then looking at the numbers being put out, i came to the conclusion that it was bullshit, and something creepy was going down. I stopped wearing masks, and the same people who looked at me crazy before, were all wearing masks, and looked at me like I was crazy for not wearing one.
I feel the same way about politics now. i was early on the "wake up" train. and now, while I do think there is a political "virus" out there so to speak, i think much of what is happening all around us is a construction to keep us engaged, and to keep them important. Because the secret the legacy political systems dont want you to see, is that they dont matter nearly as much as they want you to believe they do.
At absolute maximum, 20% of the "things that urgently matter" actually matter at all. What they want, is for you to BELIEVE. To believe what they say, and what they do, is of critical importance to the world.
But have you ever wondered what would happen if they all just disappeared, or just stopped talking? Or no one let their words or plans affect any decision they made in life?
If everyone believed they didnt matter, would they still matter?
“No one pats themselves on the back for spending an hour watching mukbang videos”
i didnt read the whole thing. i just really like this statement 😂

it seems “strategic “ actually means “f*** y** we’re taking your stuff”
still laughing after learning there were fitness influencers, lifestyle (look how rich and hot i am) influencers and political commentators in the Greco-Roman world. And that this gave rise to the Sophists, “how to be an influencer” influencers who would charge a fee for advising people on how to be more popular and get elected.
There is no new retardation under the sun. 🌞
well...
TIL,
Philostratus. The social commentator who dunked on the fitness and lifestyle infloooencers of the 3rd century Greco-Roman attention economy.
There is nothing new under the sun.
til,
the battle of Morgarten. Where 1500 farmers lured 9000 trained, armed Knights into a narrow pass between a mountain and a lake, and pushed rockslides and rolling logs down on them destroying the entire army. Giving birth to Switzerland. 🇨🇭

so did that gada turn out to be more in the well meaning but unuseful, or actually useful category?
this generation seems increasingly shallow and arrogant to me. it lacks the humility to see its own shortcomings and failures. Everyone is an expert, and knows nothing. its kinda bumming me out. gonna need to narrow inputs and change focus.
go deep enough into your rabbit holes that normies have no idea what you’re talking about
