Humility produces fruit. 🫒 Pride produces sin. 🐍 But what is humilty? It is the filial love of God the Father as modeled by Jesus Christ. The total and absolute child-like dependence and trust and reverence of God in Heaven. And what is pride? It is the love and trust of self. The root of all sin. The desire to be free of dependence. All actions, even those associated with humility, are of pride when they come from this place. Humility is not a low view of self. Humility is a confidence and love in one's total and complete dependence on the God of whom all of creation couldn't help but come thundering into existence at His word. Humility is to be a child resting in God's arms. To be a vessel emptied of pride. To be a creature progressively redeemed unto the image of the Son, and adopted son of God. #ToChristAlone

My sin is distressing. Only in Jesus can I rest. #ToChristAlone

If you believe that your own works, your own righteousness, are in any measure instrumental in your own justification... then you will attempt to stand before God not seeking absolute forgiveness and redemption, but... recognition. That you had already obtained holiness in this life "by God's grace", and now it was up to God to do His part and recognize it. Woe to you on that day. 👤 #ToChristAlone

I keep wanting devote some time to rotating my stranded fiat retirement accounts out of $MSTR into physical #Bitcoin (via Unchained or the like), but now that #Strategy is being kicked off the global index... it makes me think they are still an underdog worth supporting. 🤔

For not in my bow do I trust, nor can my sword save me. - Ps 44:6 #ToChristAlone

I marvel at how the Reformation was used by God to deliver His Word into the hands of every believer in the Western world. 🙌 #ToChristAlone

#Tesla is to Gen X... ... what aliens are to Boomers.

The energy requirements to fly without wings are extreme. A helicopter needs 3-5x the power of a fixed-wing aircraft to hover the same weight, because it has to generate all its lift from spinning blades while also fighting induced drag. Drones face the same math at smaller scale, which is why even the best ones manage maybe thirty to forty-five minutes of flight time before the battery is spent. The #Tesla Roadster's cold-gas system is the extreme case of this problem. It carries its entire energy supply as compressed air, so the more it weighs and the higher it goes, the less reserve it has left, and there is no way to stretch that budget without changing the technology itself. Wings are the cheat code. They let the air do the lifting for free once you are moving. View quoted note →
