Freedom comes from owning productive assets outright, generating positive cash flow, and minimizing obligations to anyone else. From that perspective, Bitcoin is “freedom money” precisely because you don’t need permission to hold it or spend it. Borrowing against it flips that relationship: -You voluntarily encumber your sovereign asset. -You now owe a creditor. -Your future cash (sat) flow is committed to servicing debt. -If you fail, someone else has a legal claim on your Bitcoin.
