Hitchhiking to @HRF OFF Kopenhagen-Oslo 600km, 2 Hops, 7,5h This morning I was woken up in Christiania by one word: "Action!" The rest of the day felt like a movie. They say the hardest thing about hitchhiking is getting to the highway and today I had to dodge ticket inspectors in the metro. Then I was singing "It’s a beautiful day" to lift my spirit, while walking through the rain and having no clue on when or how I’d arrive in Oslo today. Turned out I only needed two people. First person was Ali, who was taking his Bolt cab back from Copenhagen airport to Malmø and since he wouldn’t find a paying customer, he would take me across the Øresund and drop me of at the first gas station in Sweden. Then I hit the fucking jackpot. Mon frère Armine was already on a 1100km roadtrip from Roubaix to arrive at the perfect place and time to tell me he’s going to Oslo and will gladly help me get there too. During the first of six hours I was convinced I was riding with a drug smuggler, since he was smoking big blunts behind the wheel, saying that he was going to Norway for making a good amount of money for working with medical deliveries. The rest of the drive was filled with me picking up my school French again, Rap Marseillaise and games of chess. Limits are the domain of the limited.

Hitchhiking to @HRF OFF Today started with an hour of hiking to get to the right side of the highway. From there 250km , 2 hops, 3,5h Second guy I asked if he was going towards Copenhagen was Kurt, who delivers #Steak to restaurants for one of Denmarks biggest beef producers. He took me from Jutland to Fyn and dropped me of at a gas station close to Odense. 100 guys later Morten&Simon pulled up and were like:"Bro, jump in we’re heading to Copenhagen." They were working for denmarks biggest broadcaster and were filming a documentary about the impact of #AI in school environments. Then we went to explore Christiania, but that’s a story for another day. GN from a cozy place in an anarchist utopia.

Hitchhiking to @HRF OFF Today’s hitch went from Cologne to Kolding. 700km, 5 Hops, 10h Love got me on the highway. Finn and Dean were going to Berlin to celebrate the birthday of their friend Kirk, and drove me in warp speed to Hannover. Here I met Oliver, who took me until the gates of Hamburg. Thies and Anne were crucial in getting me around Hamburg on their way to say their last farewell to their aunt/sister and dropped me off on the perfect gas station to head towards Denmark. Here I met two Danes, Martin and Jens who were coming from Nijmegen where they traded a bunch of grass seeds. They dropped me at the perfect spot to stay for the night and continue my journey tomorrow morning towards Copenhagen. Shelter is in true hitchhike-hygge fashion.
