Hitchhiking to @BTC Prague Yesterday at 9am I was on the highway heading east out of Cologne. My first ride was with 해무 (Hae-Mu) an emeritus professor for theology from South Korea, who is visiting his Dutch daughter for two months, while traveling through Europe working on his book about the Holy Trinity. It was a really funny ride since I’ve learned Dutch and Kroean during my time in Seoul, so we had a lot to bond over. He dropped me of close to Gießen with the words: "You fill me with a lot of hope, young man." 🧡 Almost immediately after he dropped he of I asked Mitch if he went east. He answered something like: "Yes, how far do you want to go?", turned out he went all the way to Bautzen to celebrate his sons graduation from school. It was a fun ride with him until he dropped me of in Dresden. He was reminding me that the front of the revolution is everywhere, and I was glad to have met him. From Dresden I went with Eduardo, a Czech mechanic working close to Koblenz maintaining cooling systems and other big machinery. He was on his way to visit his family back in Czech Republic for the weekend and took me half the way from Dresden to Prague, dropping me of on a gas station close to Keblice. From there I was invited to jump into the van of Petr a young Czech working in road construction, he had a lot of pylons with him, and an energy that was almost too good after a nightshift working. He was so kind and dropped me of right in front of Hotel Duo, where he was proudly presenting me the "Free Parking Everywhere - Lights" of his car. True young pleb stacking Sats, but refused to take some, saying it’s hitchhiking codex.
