We have some weird weather today, instead of getting warmer, it's only getting colder by the hour. And tomorrow, will be much colder than today. I was beginning to drive to the train station but I kept getting resistance. So no, NYC today. It's too dark to run outside. I am waiting for the break of dawn. Tomorrow's weather is bound to be colder. This is the warmest it will be. It's now or never. The weather keeps challenging me and humbling me. I'd take 20's weather than anything in the10's. image

We were placed here to win. So, WIN! "For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory". Deuteronomy 20:4 "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57 Or, ask to win, the victory is yours. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Luke 11:9

Trust is a fragile thing. I've learned that one lie is too much to bear. When you find trust nourish it. Maybe, I move too fast. One lie tells me enough about a person to flee. A hard truth is always better.

Guys, I have the opportunity to run the Sydney Marathon but with a commitment to fundraise more money to cancer. Anybody willing to sponsor me? It's such a big commitment to sign up for another major plus travel and lodging. I'd wear your company logo to the race. Hat and shirt. Should I do it? Another major.

We live in a weird world where we let Groundhogs predict the weather and then, they are right. I was hoping Staten Island Chuck would predict an early spring. image

My daughter was so excited about reading books tonight. We began reading. We got through a couple of pages before she passed out. It's moments like these I cherish. We always read more than one book. Tonight was different. They say her excitement to read books will go away. I don't want her excitement to go away. I find it my duty to keep that alive for her. To be excited about books. The more she reads the better she will be.

Week 38, Another long run completed. Harlem Meer in Central Park was frozen as well as the waterfall. NYC looked a bit icy like Alaska. Glad, I didn't have to fly anywhere to experience a sight like this. My watch either froze and died at mile 10. So, I don't know the overall distance of my run. Oh well. Everytime, I run by the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, it's just a stunning architectural piece in NYC. I can't help but think it doesn't belong in NY because it looks like it's from a different decade. It also looks like it's missing part of the building on the top left. Story time. Every time, I am at Columbia University, I get a sense of familiarity. It feels like I have a chapter of my life there. I will never understand this sense of familiarity. The first time, I stepped foot at that university, I knew the first building was a church without ever being inside. It turned out to be right. I was amazed. Just amazed at what my mind knew. I run the upper west side and that thought lingers. The West side highway is right next to Columbia. I've tried to go to the library at Columbia. They have items from the World Fairs and its crucial for my research. There's part of history of NYC in that library. The NYC public library shows a bunch of items. It will be a matter of finding a way to get to that library. If you get me a pass, I will love you forever. I am just researching books on Luca Pacioli or the NYC World Fairs of 1939-1940 or1964-1965. Or, history of the NYC Public library- a building called the Crystal Palace. Overall, it was a great run. I am thankful I get to do this for fun and it's part of my training. I thank God for runs like these. Experiences like these. A bit unique. The temp was a bit warmer, 25 degrees. I woke up with the sniffles. Let's hope it's just that. I am ready for nice weather. I hope the groundhog says it's an early spring tomorrow. Every year we see people disturbing these groundhogs that are only trying to sleep. Let's see what Staten Island Chuck says. He was right last year. Phil from PA keeps being wrong. Who decided groundhogs were good at predicting weather? Anyway, stay well friends.

We should aspire to be more like Hal Finney. He was the first person to run Bitcoin. Marathons and training kept him very busy but also fit. He had a loving wife and two kids. A person who enjoyed challenges. I bet Fran did a good job helping him focus on his tasks and keeping him out of trouble. He was focused of legacy. He built family, he built mileage and built Bitcoin, something extraordinary that will change the world forever. The ALS challenge is done. On this last day of January, I just want to bring more awareness to who he was and why we run for ALS awareness and cure. You can still donate to the cause. I am running for @Bitcoin Runners . You can still donate. We've seen the Bitcoin price skyrocket so many times, reaped it's benefits. It's time to give back and donating to ALS research is doing just that. Help us hit the goal. Hal set the standard high on what a technologists could do and accomplish. Proof of work. He got it done. We should aspire to be more like him. More truth seeking. I never met him but as a marathon runner, you need a mentality of " I need to get this done. Now!". Hal had that mindset. Thank you @Fran Finney for keeping him focused on his tasks. He ran Bitcoin but you kept him focused on all his goals and tasks. Behind an innovator is a strong woman supporting his endeavors, pushing him to achieve his greatest self. You should write about how you did just that. We can learn a lot from you. . image

One moment, I am reading a book. I scrolled on Instagram and the Red hot chili peppers song was playing... So now, I am in the gym running K's because this is my hype up song. I get into this must run non-bs mentality. Story of my life.

Love is being able to write poems. The only way to express the feeling through rhymes... Just words overlapping in what self expression could be. Just looking at the dictionary for a word to express the feeling that rhymes with the previous sentence. If the person doesn't ignite an idea to write a poem. It isn't love. Or, maybe, that's how profound I want the feeling to be. The end.

My last book arrived wrapped with this quote. It's so adorable! This bookseller gave me a bookmark with a poem. This book was already special but it feels like it's meant to be. And it's a poem about a tree and God. :) I read this book last year but I decided I wanted the book in my library.

Guys, someone gave me two monitors and it's time to create a super computer. I have no idea what I am doing. If you got any ideas on what direction to take that would be helpful. I am curious to see the motherboard on this computer. image
