BitChat needs zaps, pronto. And probably it needs to be implemented with eCash.... and not Lightning, given the potentially offline status of a lot of users, right?

Your choice, gunslinger: Alby Hub: "Self-custodial, for real: you can clone a GitHub repo, run it all yourself, with no permission, with excellent privacy, all using tested, reliable, open standards, which are all over 5 years old: The Lightning Network, and Bitcoin. Proven to work in production. Many thousands of users." Spark: "Self-custodial, like, at some unknown point in the future, LightSpark, a private company, might allow you to access their API, and at that point they might or might not allow you to do something with their weird token that uses non-standard addresses. Oh, and the software isn't available yet."

@elsat @Bfgreen @Achilles @Contra @primal Here are the GitHub issues tracking the list_transactions issue in Primal for iOS: Short synopsis is that Primal iOS might have a bug, possibly introduced in the Sep 8th update, which renders it unable to show transactions from any NWC backend -- we've confirmed failures with: Coinos, Rizful, Yakihonne, and Alby. Same failure in each case, too.

@primal on iOS was last updated (according to what I see in my iOS updates) on September 9th. I wonder if something in this update broke the NWC "list_transactions". It was definitely working before but I don't know the exact date we last tested it. @Nostr Wallet Connect -- are you aware of any NWC services for which @primal on iOS will reliably show a "list_transactions" output? In my testing, @primal doesn't even seem to ask our relay for the "list_transactions" at all...

@Achilles @Bfgreen @Contra (or anyone else who cares) -- do you happen to have a CoinOs account? My first step with NWC on Primal on iOS is to answer a simple question: Will it display NWC transactions from a non-Rizful NWC service? Just now I have tested a CoinOs NWC code, and I'm seeing the exact same issue -- @primal just shows a spinner, doesn't show any transactions. Again, we're focusing here on @primal for iOS, not Android. In order to fix it in Rizful, we first need to prove that there IS some OTHER service that provides NWC codes and these codes DO work in Primal iOS....

@Achilles @Bfgreen @Contra I'm trying to find the bug in @primal which is causing it fail to display transactions in the Wallet screen, for NWC connected services. I can build the Android version, and although it's missing the zap data (unlike Damus which shows it)... it does actually show the full list. So -- first question -- are you all on Android, or iOS? Maybe the issue is that I'm trying Android and I should be trying it on iOS. image
