i have to admit 8K has no value for video but it's great as a computer monitor because all the little emoticons and other small icons are rendered so much sharper with 8K you can run a 85" screen and still have everything look sharp but sadly this is too niche a case for TV makers to cater to so everyone except Samsung has already exited the 8K market and Samsung might never release next-gen 8K sets this is really sad. i will miss my 8K screen ( it's dead ).
