WooooW I actually think,there was never a better explanation of nostrers value. An Internet, where many companies created a business that sells attention and time. We as their product are as a result those left with less attention and less time. The high competition resulted in a lot of clickbait. Where we click on it, since it is catchy, only in order to find out it underwhelms our expectation. But there still is content based on an other business model. Creators that gain their money from happy viewers and listeners. patreon.com newpress.com paywalled media outlets, they all know that they will need to deliver to their supporters need in order to gain money. Therefor they are more sensitiv to produce quality content. And #nostr also goes in this direction. With the opportunity to spend zaps on specific content we want to see more of. With the unique liberties of the user, define the algorythm of content displayed. With the liberty to creat a user handle at will. And the freedom to use whatever client we prefer to use.
