Wordle 1,657 3/6* β¬›β¬›πŸŸ¨β¬›β¬› πŸŸ¨πŸŸ©β¬›πŸŸ¨β¬› 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Minute Cryptic - 1 January, 2026 (I couldn't link a song without spoiling Minute Cryptic by not being cryptic so I put a space in the YouTube link. Creating an obscured link is computationally trivial, and so are most web services, but not at scale. In order to justify investment in underlying infrastructure to normal people value needs to be extracted - enshittification followed by deenshitification is an unconscious human design and cyclical. We're in the building infrastructure but not being public infrastructure phase. My 'space in a YouTube link' is dodging the penny of extracted value on the URL shortening link services but not the tupenny advertising toll on YouTube. YouTube will be made public in 2100 by President Yeet Roberts then privatised again in 2170 by President Rick 'red' Cavaller because the union got a bit nutty and many people think splitting it into separate publicly listed franchises would be better. Then there was some other shit that people all use and the 200 year cycle repeats in a slightly different format. The re-emergence of public lavatories or something because of the elderly population in China.) "Chicken crosses avenue to get to the other side?" Wordle 1,656 3/6* πŸŸ¨πŸŸ©β¬›β¬›πŸŸ¨ β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ©πŸŸ¨ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Minute Cryptic - 31 December, 2025 (never shop on an empty stomach. So, the inevitable diet approaches, and the worst problems were melomakarona, a kind of Greek ground walnut spiced honey baked concoction, which are utterly delicious but, and I worked this out, work out about 300 calories per bar which is about 4 or 5cm by 3cm, it turns out walnuts are very good for a person and very calorific, I've got about half a kilo of them left; stollen which is basically baked bread, enriched with butter, fruit, marzipan through the middle, with some kind of spirit over the top, dusted with icing sugar, a whole stollen left; milk chocolate ginger cakes, which I finished; orange and salted caramel dark chocolate, 2/3rds of a bar remaining; butter stollen bites, uneaten - I'll get there by late January; pepparkakor basically ginger biscuits. And I'll mostly be eating left over savory food for a week or two. I broke it up last night with a fairly insipid M&S beef vindaloo, Christmas voucher, which needed far more chilli and spice. It was at most medium spiced on an Indian scale. This is, in historical terms, not a bad situation to be in and I'm not complaining. So far I have put on a kilogram in weight. I walked upwards of 10km yesterday but basically I'm going to have to eat sensibly again from January onwards. New years resolutions are bollocks.) Wordle 1,654 3/6* πŸŸ¨β¬›πŸŸ©β¬›β¬› β¬›πŸŸ©πŸŸ©β¬›β¬› 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Minute Cryptic - 29 December, 2025 (Very hard to find songs that aren't depressing which is the opposite of what I think in most circumstances. I think marriage is potentially a great thing with caveats. Obviously two married gits is good for the gits but a 2N to N^2 measure of gittiness in big G notation, which is asymptotic like Big O notation. Essential describing the maximum potential gittiness value of married gits in terms of N the initial gittiness. So I'd argue marriage is potentially good for gits and people who are not gits and both are capable of bad marriages. Which we can sort-of, a bit, maybe, hope for in the case of gits but not hold it against their kids to reduce the chances of them becoming gits and some gits can be otherwise good parents. It's complicated.) It's good to see that AI has solved the problem of "How can we make customer support make all of our customers feel a bit like Josef K. in The Trial?" and "how can I give related but mostly useless answers while not understanding the question?". The cost of all those data centers and power hungry GPUs is a productivity golden age for somewhat useful autonomous apparatchik ticking meaningless boxes. #IdesignatedchristmasITsupportrelative

Which, I suppose, is inevitable when gifting or decorating. There are loads of suburban Christmas displays. I love that. It's nice. That depends on the unit of selection, what the definition of creation encompasses (or, indeed whether creation is a measure of evolution or complexity in the Darwinian and or Cronin/Walker's assembly theory) and the scope of that creation or whether the scope of that creation is easily correlated with future outcomes (even with something as mathematically simple as the logistic map) let alone the level of probabilistic determinism 'under the hood'. Existence exists. The scarcity, or abundance, of the ability to reflect on it has yet to be determined. I don't like thinking too much before breakfast but maybe breakfast is also a valid answer.
