I recently read an extremely nihilistic book which I had to stop because I couldnโt make it make sense. It was The Conspiracy Against The Human Race by Thomas Ligotti. The idea is existence is worse than not existing. I just couldnโt even fathom the idea. I think thatโs the antithesis of this quote. Not destruction, but anti-creation, which is not in human nature. Rambling after some wine.
