We had a social media teacher during my MA who was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. He recommended a book in his course: Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown. I finally got around to reading it the following summer. It’s a simple, accessible read, yet it’s one of those books that profoundly changes the way you see and live your life. I’m still a finger-in every-pie kind of person as you can probably tell from my posts 😄, but trust me, this version of me is still a big improvement. Essentialism taught me to focus, cut the fluff, and improve life by subtraction rather than addition. After my first read, I wrote to my teacher, Mr. Morin, to thank him for recommending the book and to express my regret for not having picked it up the day he mentioned it in the class. I’ve read it several times since. I own both the e-book and the audiobook and I’ve consumed it in every form possible. Every once in a while, I find that a little “booster dose” of Essentialism is exactly what I need. #bookstr #bookreview image

I read Show Your Work by Austin Kleon once, years ago. but it’s had a lasting impact on me as a content creator. Easy-to-read, simple, yet game-changing. I would read it again soon. #bookreview #bookstr image

How can I schedule my posts on Nostr? I remember there was a solution created long ago. I wanna know how I can schedule my posts at different times so I don't bombard you in a minute with 5 pieces of content. #asknostr

Just finished watching animal. (2025). It's a stunning and coherent film about the healing power of eating meat. 🥩 Beautifully made, with music and imagery that flow perfectly. Features top voices like @Ken Berry, MD , Shawn Baker, Robert Kiltz, Eric Berg, Robert Cywes, Judy Cho, and Steak and Butter Gal. It seems to be available on mainstream streaming services, such as Amazon and Apple TV too. It's great. It helps more people get the message and hopefully change their lives! I got it from here: You can watch the trailer here and buy it if you like it: image

Just bought the documentary animal., which explores healing through the carnivore diet. Can’t wait to watch it! It features @Ken Berry, MD along with a few legends we miss on Nostr: Anthony Chaffee, Shawn Baker, and Robert Kiltz. 🥩🎬 So it has to be good!

I’m becoming more convinced by the arguments against training to failure.

I don't know who needs to hear this. But Dr. Atkins did not die of a heart attack.

“I don’t interest myself in why. I think more often in terms of when, sometimes where; always how much.” That line comes from Three Days of the Condor (1975) — the quote that first drew me to the film after hearing it referenced in Mr. Robot. It’s a fantastic watch: a sharp, tightly written spy thriller with strong pacing and compelling performances. The acting feels theatrical — not in the over-the-top sense, but in that classic, stage-like way where dialogue, tone, and delivery are deliberate and expressive. You don’t see that style much beyond the 1970s. Modern performances tend to lean toward realism, which I also appreciate. (I find actors like Matthew McConaughey and Robert De Niro as great representatives of this more realistic style.) If that kind of performance resonates with you, I’d give Three Days of the Condor a solid 8/10. Definitely worth your time. image

Can Bitcoin Do Everything Ethereum Does? @npub1c2d9...kxar of @Liana Wallet explains that although Bitcoin isn’t designed like Ethereum to execute code, even today—without any soft fork or update—it’s technically possible to enable nearly ANY feature that Ethereum have and more!
