Nostr users are actually getting richer than users on other platforms because of zaps. If you have received at least one zap you basically have made more money than most users on other platforms. we will be rich!! money money money! keep making content!!

I just realized that there is actually some people making money on nostr and that's people who are getting zapped for their notes & streaming. keep making notes! and keep streaming! we will be rich!!! rich!! rich!! rich!!

nostr is for fun! not for making money! don't worry about money! worry about fun! fun! fun! fun!

there will be tons of money to be made on nostr!! just not anytime soon. 1. We need more users. It's going to take a long time to get users on nostr because most people are sick of social media and have no interest in joining. We can try to attract users on other platforms like X, but they are mostly bots and only a tiny minority are actually real users. 2. The fiat system is too dominant that most people are broke and don't have the money to pay for entertainment. Most people are struggling with life costs that paying for nostr isn't their priority. 3. The world is getting worse and people are getting poorer. Food and shelter is their only priority. But don't lose hope. Just keep building nostr projects, not for the money, but for the experience and fun!

I'm against freeloaders but it's not really freeloading when the product is available for free. So don't feel sad when you use a free relay. It's free because they want us to use it.

It's hard to make money off nostr projects such as relays & clients when most relays and clients are free. It doesn't make sense financially to pay for example 5USD a month to use a client when clients are free. It's like throwing money away. The devs don't actually seem to need our money. They seem to happy to let us use their product for free.

holy moly, the newest version of amethyst has tons of new features. I'm still finding new features.

I don't think nostr nests on amethyst works. I tried it and it doesn't seem to connect. I think that's why it's not active with users.

Nostr is not for the weak. You need thick skin to survive nostr. and this is only nostr in the early stages, can you imagine when billions are on here?

A lot of npubs give up on nostr. The users that give up I suspect leave because they aren't used to real users and organic replies. Nostr does a good job on telling the losers to leave and not come back.

In Canada buying a house is more scammy than the US because every 5 years you renew your mortgage and your payment changes based on the current interest rates. I know in the US you're locked in for 25 years with the same rate. Both systems are a scam system meant to keep you in debt and house poor forever while betting that you never pay off your home.

I think 2026 and 2027 will be the peak of the current housing crisis that is going on in Canada. I'm seeing a lot of power of sales going on in Canada. Big drop in prices like dropping 50k at intervals but many sellers are still in denial. I think alot of them don't really follow what's happening in the world or they watch MSM which hides the truth.
