Just idly checked the old ETH address I used to shitcoin from and realised I received an airdrop of £450 worth of OP tokens a year ago. Had to buy £10 worth of ETH to pay for the gas fees but managed to convert the OP tokens to ETH, then from ETH to BTC and it’s now sitting comfortably in my BTC cold wallet. Shitcoining was fun when it went your way but none of it is sustainable and it’s all based on extraction and gambling. I’m glad to have left it all behind

Who's building an AI tool that organises/prunes/sorts my massive library of photos i've taken over the years? I want it to pick out screenshots, blurry photos, pick the best 2/3 from burst shots, organise by face, place, time, vibe etc. I don't want Google doing it, I want to run it from my own cloud server

I’m also really concerned with the financial literacy of the public in the UK, especially those people complain about corporate price gouging. It’s not only that people don’t understand money, they also will wilfully mis-read information and will not believe basic facts and evidence when presented with them. I try to avoid just generalising about how the UK is turning into an Orwellian nightmare but’s it’s getting harder by the day

Just tried to engage politely and in good faith with a Twitter user about their misconceptions about how money works. All I received was a tirade of abuse and a blocking. Deleted my account and added twitter to my router’s blocklist. Absolutely done with it, what a waste of time. @ODELL was right, Nostr only from now on
