I just updated Knots on a @Start9 node. Does anyone know the config options in #Knots to allow Datum Gateway to function again? It’s the only service that didn’t function after the chain download. Thx #asknostr

Well, despite record rainfall, 21 days in and I’m not seeing any action on these seed potatoes. Contrasting that with the only 8 days it took the potatoes at home to start popping through the soil, I’d say these chip piles may have had a ph that isn’t going to support direct growth at their current level of compost. I didn’t bother digging around because I was being eaten alive my mosquitoes. Maybe I’ll check back again in a week or two. It was worth a shot, and nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. Consider this. If the natural state of the free market is deflation, not only do you have to consider adding 8-10% to the fake ass CPI print to calculate the theft, but you also have to add whatever % of deflation would have been realized that year through efficiency improvements and scale-of-production benefits that humans made happen in that period. It takes a 2-3% CPI inflation print to something more in the neighborhood of 15-18% COMPOUNDING every single year. It’s so fucked. View quoted note →

Does anyone know if you can clone a Cold Card MK4 to a Cold Card MK5 using the “clone cold card” menu function? Thanks. @NVK 🌞⚡️ #asknostr

Finally a 24 hour period without either hammering rain, hail, high winds or single digit overnight temps. The plants are happy. Potatoes and tomatoes are taking off despite a little pest issue and ph correction I’m dealing with on the tomatoes, but the beets germinated and became visible on day 8. Carrots on day 9. Tomorrow I’ll just be adding soil to virtually “hill” the potato boxes, maybe start some radishes, and clean out the 30 pounds of clay that is still on the garage slab from a winter of freezing and thawing off vehicles. Two more weeks of flat out activity at work and home, then ten days of holidays out of province in BC.
