Day 1 - of our Pacific Crossing has been spent cleaning the bottom of the hull. If we do this we make the hull smoother and the boat far more efficient when underway and this makes travelling 4,000nm quicker and easier on the boat, you and your gear! This is where we are anchored and we’ll spend the next day or two finishing off small jobs and waiting on a solid weather window to depart in. Have to say it’s not a bad spot to do all the above in 🤙😊

Over the last few days we’ve been in Panama working hard to get the final jobs done before we departed across the Pacific. Those jobs are now done. The boats full of spares, provisions and all she needs now is a day out at the Las Perlas where we’ll clean her bottom and wait for a solid weather window, which looks to be the 11th or 12th? I’ll update here when we can to share what it’s like crossing an ocean on a sweet 54ft trimaran. As everyone freaks about Bitcoins price we stay humble and stack sats and continue to fit our new water maker. We run this boat 100% off #solar power and we dream of one day being able to mine #Bitcoin using our excess power. At the moment it’s a dream but in a few years we hope to bring it to reality. Another big day onboard sorting out our wiring and fitting more components of the water maker. Not only that going on also have six months of provisions being stored. Boats interior becomes a mess but it's only a few days of work and we'll have this girl ready to break free of marinas and to explore the world. ⛵️🌎

What's it like to live on and own a yacht? It's like producing Bitcoin it requires a lot of proof of work to be successful. We're presently getting ready to cross the Pacific in April. The past five months have been hectic. we've removed mould, cleaned bildges, rewired the 24v system, change engine exhaust, fitted watermakers and inverters along with fitting a solar system that we hope will provide all our power as we sail weather towards Auatralia.
