A random actual person walked by and recognized my System76 laptop the other day. I said I had a desktop, also. He made happy noises. I said I got that laptop model because it came with coreboot. More happy noises. I mentioned being kind of a privacy nerd, and he said, "I use Qubes!" I'm still not completely convinced it wasn't a dream. I'm also realizing that normal people would have exchanged contact info or something instead of being an awkward introvert.
