GM - Mondays have always been my busiest day. Mondays make me anxious. I wonder if something happened to me that I can’t quite pinpoint—something that causes me to wake up feeling this way. Sometimes I wish I could just switch my mind off, like flipping a light switch. I’ve tried meditation, journaling, and affirmations (it’s been a while since I’ve done them). It’s official—I’m not exactly a people person. Let me explain: if you see me quiet, it’s usually because I feel uncomfortable. For some reason, being around people, especially other women, just feels unsettling. I’m not sure why. I’ve felt this way for as long as I can remember, maybe because I grew up around my brother and mostly boys. That said, I do have a few close friends who are women, and when I feel comfortable, I really wear my heart on my sleeve and value those friendships deeply. I wish it were easier for me to walk into my kids’ school or a sports event and make friends. But honestly, I often feel a bit out of place. I don’t know… maybe it’s part of my anxiety. If you suffer from low back pain, you know it’s no joke! I’ve been dealing with back issues since I was a teenager, thanks to a cheerleading injury and a fall while ice skating. Low back pain can flare up unexpectedly and be quite debilitating. Stretching can often provide relief—stretches like the **pigeon pose** (which opens the hips and releases tension in the lower back) or seated stretches that target the hips and back are helpful. Alternating between heat and ice is another method to reduce pain and inflammation. #Morningthoughts If I could give some advice to my younger self, it would be this: Growing up, I was always told that college was a necessity, and I became the first in my family to earn a Master’s degree. But now, looking back, I’d say: Unless you're pursuing a specialized field like medicine or law, don’t waste your time and money on a degree. Instead, focus on getting experience in the industry you're passionate about, research it, study it on your own, and create your own path. People like to make cooking complicated. I just look to see what I have in my refrigerator and create something nutritious and delicious! Love making different egg recipes 🤪 Today I used 2 different cheeses in my omelette and of course bacon on the side! Do you love cheese like I do? Thankfully I haven’t had to give it up while being on carnivore. I was finally able to find a market that sold raw cheese. And lucky they had different kinds, sheep cheese, buffalo and cow. 😳 Today the family tested out these raw cheeses! And we rated them from best to great 🤣 They were all so good!
