Learning Bitcoin 2025, Vancouver BC Day 1 I’ve been to a dozen or more bitcoin conferences and can say that this one is extremely unique. Interactivity, connection and signal are all extremely high. So many builders in Vancouver it’s been inspiring and eye opening. Seattle is starting to grow and with Vancouver as a model we can move even quicker. Shoutout to @npub1tm20...lpna @FunkCoffee @Learning Bitcoin Foundation @npub14kck...jm3r @Adam O’Brien @AdamHodl @Chroma 🔥 .. and so many more building on bitcoin.

Mi Primer Bitcoin Unconference in Vancouver has been great. Tons of good talks and side discussions. If you get the chance to make it one of their events you should! @BTC Sessions

Intro to one of my favorite podcasts to date. The Bulgarian legend Plamen Andonov in the flesh! Check out the full episode on any podcast player or help me grow the YouTube. Channel is “We Are Satoshi.” I’m currently making a full length (~90 minute) documentary and slowly but surely making progress editing. Sharing these interviews as podcasts makes a ton of sense because I can’t fit the whole thing into the movie! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did👌

I had the pleasure of interviewing the Bulgarian bitcoin legend, Plamen Andonov while I was in Sofia last month. We talked about why plebs orange pilling each other is over, threats to bitcoin, AI/robotics and why Plamen took a stand against the crypto scammers. Full episode:

GM! Journaling clarifies thinking and cultivates growth. Highly recommend. Doesn’t need to be daily. image

@trepechov built a lightning ATM that turns fiat coins into sound money. It’s a great orange pilling device because the barista and coffee shop owner turn their tips into sats and show customers how easy it is to use bitcoin as money. Also happens to be best coffee shop in Sofia and accepts bitcoin as payment👌

Very happy with my @daylightco DC-1. It’s got me reading more, spending more time in the sun and staying away from blue light before bed. 10/10 would recommend if you’re on the fence about it. I recently got a promo code to save $25: WeAreSatoshi ✌️ Making content is a labor of love and my promise is that I’ll only recommend products I actually believe in, that make my life better and I use often. image

When you’re healthy, you have a thousand “problems.” When you’re not healthy you have just one.

Great turnout at Seattle bitcoin walk today. Nostr is great but connecting with bitcoiners in real life is really where it’s at. #proofofwalk image

Friday night. Chipping away editing my film… had the productive week since coming home but still a long ways to go. Smoked lamb shoulder for dinner. Onward! GN Nostr ✌️ image

MSTR is the US strategic reserve. At some point shareholders will be bought out with printed poverty paper or the company will be nationalized. Paper bitcoin is encouraged by the big players because they want the largest honeypot possible. Don’t agree? Fast forward 50 years. Do you really think there’s a chance a company owns more bitcoin than the US government? Not your keys, not your coins. Self custody is the only way.

When is information “dangerous?” I posted this episode: on Twitter and it was given an age restriction warning. Just two guys @₿en Wehrman and Scott Dedels talking about the biggest psy ops in the world today. It got me thinking, who determines what is “dangerous” and what is “safe” information? When the platform is centralized and the information calls into question the legitimacy of the centralized control system, it is not dangerous… it’s actually the opposite. But to the centralized system the most dangerous thing out there is an informed, critical-thinking population. Be dangerous.

Centralized social media has gone so hard to co opt our attention that it’s basically impossible to do anything productive in the apps, despite new “features” being adding constantly. Whereas on Nostr I can actually use the apps without being sucked into a brain rot loop. IMO this is more important to the average person than censorship resistance.

The solo adventure is how I recharge. Hiked some beautiful trails. Stopped to smell the wildflowers. Swam naked in an alpine lake. Slept in the back of my truck. Got up at sunrise and hiked some more. Lucky to have this playground in my backyard.
