Every time I go to a bitcoin event I meet more and more bitcoiners who need to do a podcast.
There are so many great ideas and perspectives that don’t propagate through the Bitcoin community because these folks don’t do podcasts.
My encouragement whenever I meet someone like this is not to “start”a podcast but DO a podcast. It could be just do a single podcast whenever it’s time to share an idea or have a conversation about something.

Is Bitcoin just "digital gold" or can it actually become money? ☕💡
I was recently in Bulgaria spending bitcoin at restaurants and of course, coffee shops like Black Honey in the beautiful mountain town of Bankso.
Nothing fancy — just a small transaction, over in seconds. But it got me thinking…
We often talk about Bitcoin as “digital gold,” a store of value, or a hedge against inflation. We hold it, chart it and debate price targets. But how often do we actually use it?
If you haven't actually USED bitcoin as money how can you formulate a view of where this technology is going in the future? By spending bitcoin you experience value moving between people without intermediaries, instantly, with finality.
The irony is that the people who believe in Bitcoin most are often the least likely to spend it.
We call it “sound money,” but if no one transacts with it, is it really money at all?
Holding bitcoin is playing defense. Spending it is playing offense. It’s how networks grow. Every small transaction is a statement: “This isn’t just a speculative asset. It’s a usable, borderless currency.”
Money is what people use, not just what they own.
Let's get the sats flowing ⚡
Nice digs at Camp Nakamoto 🌅
I may be transitioning from a conference maxi to a “retreat” maxi…
Nature and bitcoin go well together👌

We are all Satoshi.
I’ll tell you first hand that receiving support for my film has given me so much fuel to push forward.
If you’re listening to podcasts or consuming bitcoin content, support the creators you want to see grow!
At the end of the day we’re all on the same team. We have a massive challenge to educate and onboard individuals and small businesses. Let’s go🚀
Building your network in bitcoin means you have friends in almost any major city you visit. Messaged a bitcoiner yesterday saying hey I’m coming through Boston tomorrow and he opened his doors to let me stay the night. Grateful for the hospitality!
Meeting @alo.in.motion in Bulgaria for the BTC Balkans conference. It will be her first time in Europe and first bitcoin conference!

Back on the road for a few bitcoin events this next 3 weeks. First stop: Camp Nakamoto in New Hampshire 🍂🍁
Never been to the northeast during autumn. Allegedly it’s beautiful.
What does bitcoin NOT fix?
Best answer I’ve heard from @Seb Bunney at @Learning Bitcoin Foundation 2025
Sunday night door knocker campaigning for a city council slot. You bet I preached the good word to him.
He said he “disagreed” about bitcoin being a solution to any of the problems my city faces, to which I explained why bitcoin not crypto and how it is the solution to the debasement problem and all its downstream effects (affordability, homelessness, etc.).
His current platform is “evidence based” public safety and higher progressive taxes on the wealthy… it got me to about getting more involved in local politics…
Imagine trying to build something that has never been built before.
How valuable would it be to you to talk with other people working on the same thing to share all the knowledge that you have and get all the knowledge that they have?
All the mistakes and miscalculations, the techniques and strategies that worked…
This is why knowledge sharing between circular economies is so critical. It’s not a competition, it’s not a zero sum game… a rising tide lifts all boats.
One of the best parts about working for yourself is being able to align your schedule with the sunlight and weather.
Especially living in the north, sunlight is scarce this time of year.
It’s not just, “oh I control my time” - I can literally go outside any time I want, take my shirt off, put my feet on the earth and do some pushups, kettle bell swings or whatever…
No price would entice me to give this up.
@Heatbit is the easiest way to start mining bitcoin.

I put some extra love into this episode, it’s available on YouTube/Spotify for the video version and Fountain/everywhere else with audio.
Getting on 0 is much harder than getting off 0.
Add value first, ask questions later.
This is the bitcoin way.
In fiat it’s all about what can I extract from day 1…
I believe bitcoin changes this dynamic.
We are moving to a world led by bitcoiners who value proof of work (actual results) not proof of stake (resume, credentials, etc.)
So don’t ask for permission. Do stuff. Take action. That’s how doors will open.
My first bitcoin conference was Sofia, Bulgaria 2024. Since then I’ve been to more than ten and have moved more of my time and energy towards bitcoin as a result.
Here’s a quick take on why smaller conferences are higher signal and why you should join us in Bulgaria this month!

I got to spend the day filming with world record holding swimmer Dean Hall, who was given a death sentence in the form of two types of stage four cancer and decided that he was going to beat it without radiation or chemo.
He started swimming and became the first person to swim the entire length of the Willamette river, 185 miles in 22 days.
He spent time in nature, touched the Earth and camped in the forest in his hammock.
Doctors don’t have an explanation for how he survived.
His story is a potent example of the healing power of nature. Unfortunately, he’s not on Nostr yet but hopefully soon!
"Money has spiritual energy. If you're spending blood money that comes with consequences."
Incredible episode this really got me thinking… the proof of weapons network isn’t going to roll over without a fight.
