...dude. I'm about to move three laptops and a desktop from Ubuntu to #NixOS with a single set of configuration files (in a shared git repo).
If I want to make a household-wide change to permissions or settings? Update a single file. If one of them needs a particular software package that the others don't? I update their own {username}.nix.
This...is bananas.
Say what you want about the wokies that run it, but NixOS is friggin' awesome.
So what are we going to do with all these 1 TB SSDs now that the bitcoin-block-bloaters have the upper hand? Too bad they can't be somehow linked together to act as "one" 2TB SSD for a bitcoin node.
...or can they?
I don't want to spend $250 for a 2TB NVMe SSD just to keep one of my X number of nodes operational. 🙄
