Dude in our church, close to 60 yo, soccer star. Took part in a skit recently, where the participants had to pretend to sit an a bench by doing a wall sit. After about 30 seconds, this absolute unit of a dude pulls out a newspaper to read, crosses one leg over the other, and does a one-legged wall sit for the rest of the skit--close to 10 mins. Everyone else was falling over, shaking, laughing, groaning...dude wasn't even breathing heavy. Legend. #goalz

We watched the (low-budget, Angel Studios) _Journey to Bethlehem_ last night - if you're into musicals, it's pretty good. The music is surprisingly good/catchy, actually. Antonio Banderas plays Herod; Michael Dorn ('Worf' in Star Trek: Next Generation) plays one of the three wise men (psst, @Gowron , your people are infiltrating!). "Joseph" is a little too 'Ross' for me (more like a living embodiment of the chef from Ratatouille), and "Mary"--well, you'll see it--but overall it's worth a watch with the kids. It'll give you chills at certain points, I bet.

What follows is TMI, unless you're a parent. Our 8 yo has had a stomach bug for a couple of days--and all that that implies. His older brother (12) warned him to 'never trust a fart' (we call them 'gamblers') -- so every now and then, the 8 yo runs to the toilet, with much ado, yelling 'never trust it! never trust it!' ...and then a few minutes later, proceeds to announce, LOUDLY, what the 'outcome' of the event was. 😂😂 Kids are built-in entertainment. #dadlife
