On the last day of the #nostrartstrMay2025 challenge, I drew some small flowers. I intend to put them into these tiny extra kitschy frames I got. I'd like to thank @Rustypuppy @NostrArtstr for organising this challenge, I had lots of fun painting stuff I don't usually depict and trying out different watercolour styles. I definitely painted more than I would have otherwise. 👌

Halfway there! I'm really enjoying this challenge, especially because there's no pressure of a perfectly curated grid and I can post things I'd find unworthy otherwise. But I really like this one, I think it's my favourite so far. Could be because I received a lovely wild iris a few weeks back. 😌

I didn't feel today's prompt at all, I find hyacinth flowers weirdly fake looking 🙈 So I did a bit of Wikipedia exploring and came upon the jacinth gemstone. Since I'm drawing flowers this month, I thought it would be nice to post my real plants too. I couldn't have many because one of my cats would eat them all (poisonous too). But now that he's 15 years old, he doesn't jump on the high spaces anymore and I can keep them there. I admit I went a bit crazy and filled up every available space due to the lack during his jumping years. 💁 But there's always some nook left to squeeze one more in. 🤭 The white dried ones are a memorial for my third cat that passed away 4 years ago. 🤍
