I agree. The Nostr ecosystem is going through a significant crisis right now. Zapping is becoming more and more difficult. This started when Alby pulled out. I remember when it was enough to just enter an Alby address (in email format) into your Nostr client and the zaps worked. Switching to Coinos with NWC was already a step back in terms of user experience. You can say what you want about NWC, but it’s definitely more complicated than just using a simple Lightning address in email format. And there were also more glitches and hiccups compared to how stable Alby was before the end of 2024. And now the proposed alternatives are even more complicated. I can zap again. Couldn't zap for days (or weeks?). Even with a valid NWC string. Problem was, something changed about the Alby browser extension. Had to delete keys, set it up again and re-login to all Nostr apps. Found out after 30 minutes of trial and error investigation. This doesn't help at all to build trust in your products. That's a finance-related function. Test more. Don't break things. Don't just vibe code.

Hey, I didn't know about this before. Looks like a solid review platform for all things Bitcoin-related. Could be a bit more up to date though. More providers should list themselves there.
