The big 1.0 release is getting really close, so I am cleaning things up right now. Optimizations, bug fixes, stability stuff, all that fun. Should feel a little faster now. Do self reposts annoy you too? You can now turn them off in #NoorNote and choose how old a self reposted note has to be before you want to see it again.

Nobody ever asked for it, but I built it anyway: a note taking addon. Mainly meant for private use. It gets stored on the relays with NIP 44 encryption only to sync with other #NoorNote instances. And when you delete a note, it is actually physically deleted. Not some "please, dear relay, follow the NIP" kind of deleted. npub1cmmswlckn82se7f2jeftl6ll4szlc6zzh8hrjyyfm9vm3t2afr7svqlr6f inspired me with their Nostr Keep. It has a reminder feature, but only inside #NoorNote for now, and as always local JSON backups for the full dose of sovereignty. Coming later with the new release, along with other goodies and bug fixes.

Okay, you know what, I was never really that eager for Nostr to spread and grow before. I thought it was nice here the way it is. Why change anything? But the last few days have flushed up so much corruption, bootlicking, hedonism, and lack of principles from the sewers that I think a few more people wouldn't hurt. It might get certain circles here down off their high horse. Not that more people automatically means less corruption, but at least more diverse groups and less significance for all of us.

Lol they don't get any money or attention, they pay for a blue check and still have to beg not to be the company's guinea pigs. But they love it there. Most people are masochists.
