Proof-of-Work Update 🔥 Following the successful completion of our Online #Bitcoin Diploma 4th cohort in collaboration with @My First Bitcoin, certificates were awarded July 12. We proudly graduated 16 students during yesterday's X space: 3 from 🇿🇦 3 from 🇬🇭 3 from 🇹🇿 6 from 🇳🇬 1 from 🇿🇲 That's not all 👇 -- In Cohort 4, we had over 60 students from across Africa sign up. This is what proof-of-work looks like⚡️🧡 -- As a custom, we rewarded all participants with 500 SATs each and gave the top 2 performing students 5,000 SATs based on our assessments. This time, we had a tie for 1st, so the 3rd student also got 2nd place! We just wrapped up our session at the Youth Program with Altar of Mercy Ministries 🙌🏾 We introduced Bitcoin by first addressing the real problems — then showed how it’s already offering practical solutions for youths across Africa and invited them to join the Movement. A few moments ago, I was in a brief chat with one of our students. He sent this, and it genuinely moved me. ❤️ We haven’t even completed this cohort yet, and feedback like this reminds me why we started Bitcoin Africa Story in the first place. We’re not playing.
