Candr continues to be a great conversation exploring the collision of the Podcasting 2.0 protocol with Bitcoin Lightning payments and Nostr cross-platform capabilities. Chad, your knowledge of the podcastindex.org origins combined with Reed’s Bitcoin perspective gives a nice contrast. You brought up baller-boosts of 500,000 sats or even 100,000. These may have been normal at one point for the most popular podcasts, but perhaps we are in a period of normalization where micro-payments are the new norm. I believe these can be the difference that keep start-up creators going. These new protocols have removed a lot of barriers. Thanks for continuing to shed light on all of this!
