GM Think I'm actually gonna just suck it up and go to urgent care after work today. Was really hoping I could wait til I could get into my dentist to address this tooth abcess but it's getting hard to sleep, and I'm actually starting to run a fever. Just seems silly to go to people who can't do anything other than give me antibiotics and potentially spend hours doing it. But I'm not going to the ONE dentist open on weekends around here. I know what sort of chop shop those sort of places tend to be. This year has not been kind to my financial status, but I really should probably treat healthcare with a little less procrastination than I treat my car. Wish I thought mortgage rates had a snowball's chance in hell of coming down anytime in the foreseeable future to do a cash out refi or HELOC, but I think we'd need all of China and and the EU on a USDT standard before that's likely to happen. Anyway, it's one of those things that's annoying that I can't just go buy antibiotics. Maybe one of these days we can get limited AI prescibing for such things -- they can't be worse than the meatbag doctors that give them to people for a cold anyway.
