I'm sick of dealing with Nostr apps. I just don't have the energy to keep fucking with broken stuff. I'm stepping away for a while. I hope it improves and wish everyone the best. Peace and love.

Recent customer data exposed in shipping provider incident
ShipMonk, one of Trezor’s shipping providers, has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive customer order data, including full names, phy...
The YouTube algorithm just suggested a C++ documentary... No idea how I've ever been laid.

Is anyone thinking about ways to repurpose ColdCard hardware? I don't mean for security of Bitcoin. I think that ship has sailed, even if they aren't actually totally useless at that. So that aside, other uses.
One of my biggest issues with Bitkey is that if my phone and Bitkey device are destroyed in a house fire (who isnt keeping both at home, realistically?), I'm basically at the mercy of some emergency contact, if I set them up. I'm relying on these people to not get new phones or even understand the importance of what I'm asking of them.
I just don't see the safety here. Maybe most people are storing their phone and Bitkey device separately (in ways they won't degrade or break) but I'm skeptical.
Is it better than ColdCard was? Probably. But my fear is that all the podcasts are just doing the same shit all over again in a slightly different way. Bitkey! It's the best! It's the safest!
Maybe this is fine for low sat holdings but I think Luke Broyles made some good points in his recent custody video.
Casa shit the bed on the account creation screen. Don't give a fuck to figure out which privacy tool is likely the culprit. VPN, Brave Shield, long random Bitwarden password, or SimpleLogin email address are usually the issue when this happens.
If one or more of these are the issue, it isn't much of a security company.
If it's just a technical issue on their end, still concerning given the product.
