Banger of an episode! As a casual listener to the Motivate the Math and Magic Internet Math when you guys were talking about the concept of orthogonal within a matrix, in respect to linear algebra, it had me wondering if the concept applies to finite fields as well or perhaps the concepts are one and the same... still tons to learn! Anyways from the concept of something being almost an external stimulus, I.e. being orthogonal in nature.. how many things throughout human’s evolution have been orthogonal to the momentary schema of existence…?
@Brian Hirschfield ‘s your unpopular opinion about the “crutches” of that were supposed to evolve to lean on to expand human progress perhaps is a 10000 foot view of present state with technological advancement where we are now.
More or less the same thing happened multiple times in the last two centuries with the Industrial Revolution, with transportation and means of producing goods, and the silicon age of widespread computing. What will a finite digital hard money and intelligent auto-complete-technology(AI) that you can adapt to whatever field to get productivity gains do for the future…? I feel like you
@Business Cat in terms of trying to minimize needing AI as crutches to do things trivially but we do already have so many crutches and rely on them! I think we’re on the precipice of a new schema of reality in interaction in the world around us and we’re still just scratching the surface…
