We got this cat when he was six weeks old to keep the rats at bay. Over the years he has caught his fair share of creatures to supplement his diet. From moles to mongooses to birds and gophers. As he’s gotten older (now the ripe old age of 10) I thought he was slowing down, until tonight. We came outside to witness his fresh kill. Poor bunny. Proud kitty.

Second round of seedlings are planted after my chickens devastated my first round of starters. 😅 Hopefully these come up fast so I can get them in the ground before it gets really hot. Been working on building this custom chicken coop for months now. This mango tree has been in the ground for over a year. Poor thing has been neglected since we have had other priorities. I’ve always thought I knew how to bake because I learned to make cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats when I was young. Now that I am trying my hand at making bread, I realize that I barely know anything about baking. It’s a hard realization that I have every so often in life. Very humbling.
