this note brought Tor directory servers to my attention -
as @Luxas points out, doesn't this centralise Tor? it seems that who has controls over these servers, has control over what can be seen on the Tor network, and what circuits are built

he gave an imteresting presentation, reminding us all that there are no safe places in the internet
and he encouraged me to finally fix my Tor node
