@jack @Terry Yiu who the hell is responsible for product development at CashApp and where did they go on vacation for the last 4 years? I just rewatched the investor day from 2022 and literally none of what they said would happen, happened! Discovery tab, commerce, integration with square! Does Brian G have a Nostr account? I mean what is it like doing literally nothing at work for 4 years! Culture at Block is broke, work from home (or Costa Rica or wherever) has failed. #GM @block-opensource @Bitkey, the self-custody bitcoin wallet built by the team at Block. @Cash App @Thomas
Quote from shareholder from today. @jack $XYZ – “Show, don’t tell” Hey @jack – that’s your motto. Your philosophy. You’ve shown us a lot. You’ve shown that you are one of the greatest 0-to-1 founder of our time. A true visionary. A technologist. A builder. There will be dozens of books written about you – and rightly so. You’ve also shown that you’re one of the GOATs in 1-to-10 entrepreneur. In the history modern markets, only two (!) persons have founded two $10B+ companies from scratch: #1 – Elon Musk, with Tesla and SpaceX #2 – you @jack , with Twitter and Block You will be in the history books. But what you’ve shown over the last 10 years is hard to ignore. You’ve shown that you are a mediocre 10-to-100 executive. I'm sorry, but that’s the truth. The chart says it all. It’s the ultimate distillation of the performance of you and your handpicked executives. The market is “showing” you. How long will you ignore it? If this continues, your legacy will still be that of a visionary. But also of someone who held on too long. Blinded by conviction. Too stubborn to step aside. The history books are filled with those, too. It’s time to pass the torch. #GM #introduction #new #HI # @moneyball @calle @limitlesslaurel @primal @jack mallers
@jack can you list the products that have been launched at RobinHood over the last 3 years and the products that have been launched at CashApp? lol.
@jack Jack Dorsey’s tenure as CEO of Twitter and Square (now Block) was marked by chronic indecision, poor execution, and a tendency to chase shiny objects without follow-through. At Twitter, he failed to integrate key acquisitions like Periscope or Vine, which were squandered despite their cultural relevance. His laissez-faire, remote-first leadership style fostered a complacent, bloated culture that lacked urgency and innovation. Across Block’s portfolio—Cash App, Square, and Tidal—product velocity has lagged noticeably behind peers, with incremental updates and missed opportunities while competitors push out major features, global expansions, and ecosystem plays at a far faster pace. #bitcoin $XYZ $BTC #rawmilk #GM #stocks
