Tanja in Norway Right before the Oslo Freedom Forum, Tanja attended the @And Other Stuff Convergence three intense days in Oslo where builders, researchers, and thought leaders from the Freedom-Tech scene came together. They worked on decentralized systems, Bitcoin, Nostr, and AI. The focus was on building open systems that protect freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of transaction in the digital space. Technologies like Nostr, Bitcoin, and decentralized infrastructure are playing an increasingly important role. They enable people and communities to communicate freely, organize, and create new things without central control. It wasn’t just about watching; it was real work: thinking together, building together, forging strong connections, and taking home inspiring ideas that drive the mission around Bitcoin and decentralization forward. For @Tanja , Nostr and Bitcoin are not separate worlds she actually discovered Bitcoin through Nostr. That’s exactly why Terahash fully supports her engagement in the Freedom-Tech community: because open protocols, Bitcoin, and true decentralization belong together. Education is key: Last week, Charlie had the wonderful opportunity to give a lecture in the Sustainability and Environmental Management degree program. At the beginning, the mood was noticeably reserved many people initially perceive Bitcoin mining as nothing more than an energy guzzler without any real societal benefit. An absolutely understandable attitude, especially in this field. As the evening progressed, however, perspectives opened up: Mining proved to be surprisingly versatile as a flexible electricity consumer, for meaningfully monetizing curtailment under §13k EnWG, for utilizing waste heat in district heating networks, or for stabilizing the power grid. A healthy dose of skepticism remained, but the students were visibly fascinated by the many sustainable areas in which Bitcoin mining is already making valuable contributions today. It’s exactly these shifts in perspective that make such events so enriching A heartfelt thank you to Uwe Holzhammer for the invitation and to the dedicated students for the open and lively discussion. It's a wrap. 1.5 days at “Marc lädt ein” in Metzingen. Together with @BitBox , @bitsurance , and @Chris @ seedor_io , Leo and @Tanja were on site as support Theme: New Beginnings: Discourse on Life Exciting panels, keynotes, and finally enough time for proper networking. A fun weekend with perfect weather at the Motorworld @Niko Jilch also stopped by our booth and once again gave an enlightening lesson

Recap: @Les Femmes Orange This weekend, the LesFemmesOrange International Women’s Day event took place – featuring inspiring talks, workshops, and plenty of exchange around Bitcoin. Among the speakers were Dr. Lukas Neumeier (quantum researcher) @Joana Cotar (former Member of the German Bundestag), and @Chris @ seedor_io , who shared different perspectives on Bitcoin, technology, and society. @Tanja from the Terahash team was also there and, in addition to hosting Nostr workshops, took the opportunity to connect and network with participants. The event brought together many women – from Bitcoin newcomers to experienced users – and once again showed how important spaces for exchange, learning, and connection are. A big thank you to LesFemmesOrange for organizing the event, as well as to maibornWolff for the great location, and to all speakers and participants for creating such a wonderful atmosphere. The energy was fantastic, and the evening continued with great conversations late into the night. We’re looking forward to more events and continued exchange with the community 🧡
