With everything going on with the Coldcard MK3. I decided to use AI to help me get a better understanding of the Blockstream Jade. I admit, probably should’ve done this a while ago but still. I must say I’m quite astonished about the way that the Jade creates a seedphrase, It seems to be quite strong. With the addition of a good passphrase ofcourse. but please correct me if I’m wrong. Here’s what I found: The entropy sources that feed into this accumulator include: -User input (button presses and wheel interactions) -CPU counters -Battery state -Ambient temperature -Multiple images taken with the camera during boot -Built-in cryptographic-strength hardware random number generator -Entropy from the Blockstream Green companion app Keeping all these factors in mind, and adding an extra passphrase, am I wrong to think that the entropy behind the generated seedphrase is quite strong? To me it seems to be very random generated, and that’s a good thing right? That’s why I think that the Jade wallet still is a good option now. What’s your opinion on this? ✌🏻
