In no way is this a 'poor me' post as I am extremely grateful for my upbringing and family. However more a frustration of their continued misunderstanding of Bitcoin... In previous years I'd be gifted cash for Christmas to 'save for a house'. Before bitcoin id actually usually just spend that cash... Since becoming more and more vocal about Bitcoin to them over the last 2-3 years, this year I received 'we aren't going to give you any cash this year because you will just buy Bitcoin with it' Funny how the world works.
