It's wild how so many people in the US can't even get themselves to cheer for their team in the world cup, and rather cheer for literally anything else just out of bitterness and spite. Yet, the volumes of people with the deep burning and loud love for the country I've seen today... No other country gets close to it. Freedom is freedom, but guess which group is happier.

Mid 30s is when you should switch to europoor-maxxing. You can do it in US too, but it's harder to find the proper vibe, and higher price tag. US is the machine for turning everything good and cheap into mediocre and super expensive. That kinda explains the constant search for "up-and-coming areas". Good and cheap in Europe could stay good and cheap for decades. Thanks to their communism probably.
