What are the incentives for running a public nostr node?

One major tool that's missing from the #bitcoin key management stack is a proper *map*: something that shows the interrelationship of all your keys and devices and backups along with potential security holes. I've started some work on this but I don't have the skills to code up a prototype. Anyone out there interested???

I’ve been testing out Lightning iOS apps. Breez: appears they charge to send and receive funds, regardless whether Lightning or on chain. Seems excessive. Also, their min and maximum send/receive notices are a UX nightmare. Phoenix: appears to charge to send but not to receive. Muun: I can’t get this to work at all. Have tried sending Lightning payments to it in multiple amounts from multiple nodes. Anyone else have this issue?
